SpeakUp Academy was created from a genuine desire to help people truly integrate into new communities by mastering the language and culture that shape them. Our mission is to empower Spanish speakers to learn English and English speakers to learn Spanish, so they can confidently participate in all aspects of society—at home, at work, and beyond.

Our founder’s journey began with decades of corporate experience managing people, processes, and technology, as well as teaching business topics at the graduate level. Driven by a sincere passion to help others, he recognized that teaching language to adults with diverse life experiences is a unique challenge—distinct from both the corporate world and academia. To ensure a comprehensive and effective approach, he pursued ESL education, equipping himself to address every angle of adult language learning.
